A few days ago, I joked "Down with Sailor!". Gramatically, nothing is wrong with this expression. Similarly, we may say "Up with Sailor!". This sounds like we are strongly supporting Sailor.
Likewise, we may say "Long live Sailor!", or "Long long live Sailor!", because Sailor has a very high reputation.
I am wondering: If I say "Eternal to our freind Sailor!", whether some people will get mad or Sailor himself will get mad. Actually, nothing can be eternal in this materialist world.
All these English is fun. But it seems to me it is useless knowledge.
