I found a job opening on a company's website. Then I clicked the link "Apply now" under the job description and I found I was redirected to another company's website. This company seemed like a staffing company with a lot of HR softwares on their website. So I thought it should be a staffing company which is working for my target company.

A week after I filled out their job application form online, I hadn't received any response from the company. And I also couldn't find a way to contact this staffing company. Then I got an idea to contact my target company directly coz' I thought I shoud do something for it rather than just stay waiting.Just 死马当作活马医.

However , yesterday I found I misundstood something. Actually , that company is not a staffing company , but a recruiting software provider.Besides providing recruiting softwares, they also provide a service,run a resume collecting system for their clients. That's why I was led to their website when I tried to apply for the position.

Okay, I think ,so far everything should be clear. And I really apprieciate you guys' replies. But I still insist that if I feel I almost couldn't get response from the agency for sure ,why not try the company directly. It won't make things worse.

              用人公司不可以跳过中介直接聘用中介推荐过的人，哪怕你自己投简历给公司，为了避免麻烦，公司都会弃之不用。在这里，用人公司和中介的关系是非常长久坚固的，很多公司只从中介公司找人。不要因为一个职位和中介弄僵关系，一直和他们保持良好的联系，对你以后的就业大有好处。

      • Actually it will make things worse. The hiring company has a legal obligation not to hire anyone that the job agency has also introduced. -buug(Crouching Tiger); 2004-2-11 {145} (#1601102@0)
        It's not just a matter of reputation or relationship. Legal action can be taken. When hiring, their HR checks if your name is on agency's list.
