Don't you see most Canadians compliment others very often even for the smallest achievements? We got to learn that in order to be truely westernized. What I don't like about some people's comments is that they themselves cannot do that but they are so quick to pick others flaws first.
I not a big fan of Jerry, but a lot of what he said in his seminars does make sense to me, and I've personally benifited from the inspirations from his success, even though I didn't take his courses, now I am able to make very Canadian-like pronouciations, and I am still working towards perfection. From my experience, if you think pronounication is not important and you're OK to live with that kind of Chiglish pronouciation, you will not get into big trouble of course, but you will find yourself speaking the same kind of Chiglish five years from now, ten years from now. To put you in pespective, would that kind of Chiglish give you confidence to make a public presentation in front of a crowd of local Canadians?更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
