本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Anyone spends 300 dollars on English study has his own expectation; therefore, anyone, who makes such a decision based on others' opinion, is incapable of making a rational decision. I never take any courses from Jerry; consequently, I get no physical evidence to eveluate Jerry's English class; but I do know English study is a long term process and is a personal experience.
Since English study consums a big amount of time, any short term classes ,not only Jerry's class, may give you a good commencement, but not a dramatical improvment. Lanuge is not only pronouciation, and you also need considering listening and writing. Continous accumulation is the key , and a good start is only the first step now matter how well it looks.
Acquaintance around cornor also show us a simple fact that people are diverse, and so does people's learning methods. Some people are vision learners, and they must see the mouth posture to improve their pronounciation; on contrast, some people are ear learners, and they are able of learning languages from audio materials. In a word, they can easily mimic what ever they heard with little effort.
You may draw a conclusion according to my above words: Don't go Jerry. Acturally, that's not my point. Jerry's class will definitly help a lot of people, who have a good gramma sence, but are really bad speakers, and are positive about themselves being vision learners.
Now, you can ask yourself who are you and what you want befor going to Jerry's class instead of regretting, complaining, or insulting him after paying the money. Again, comparing to simply accepting others' comments, doing your own homework before making a decision may be tedious in the first place, but it will save your money and time from long term view.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
