LEAD (Language Education at a Distance) is a group of distance education programs for newcomers to Canada offered by the Centre for Education & Training. All of these programs are funded by Citizenship & Immigration Canada.

One of the flagship programs of LEAD is LINC Home Study. LINC Home Study is a program for newcomers to Canada who wish to improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English. Login to LINC Home Study - Ontario

Other LEAD programs follow a similar structure (using books, audio, video and web-portals) supplemented further, in some cases, with classroom sessions that support faster learning while building a greater sense of community amongst learner-groups.
