agree means "i agree". very commonly used online.
agreed is a little more formal. it could mean either "this is agreed", OR "i did agree"....why past tense vs present tense?
"....by telling agreed you are mentioning to your friend that you have listened to his words, thought about what he said, and are satisfied that he is right about the subject and then you just tell him that 'agreed!' because a few seconds earlier you just accepted his words....or tell him 'I agree' because suddenly you understood that he is right."
