Thanks everyone for your input.

To be honest, CBC weekday programs are little dry to me. I mainly focus on the podcasts for particular programs these days. The programs I liked so far are- Q, The Next Chapter, The writer’s Company, Cross country check-up, World report at six. Also internet radios offer huge selection of podcasts/audios. These days, crafted radios cater listeners with different areas of interests. You simply need time to find the one that suites your taste. I hope that radios will never die. Radios may stay in our life in a different format, not like in those old days though.

  • 工作学习 / 外语学习 / Are you a regular CBC radio listener? If you are, what are your favorite programs? If you’re not, what other (internet) radios/podcasts you listen the most? Thx for sharing.
    • 多年前,开车常听andrew berry, shelagh rogers的。不太喜欢 anna maria tremonti
      • Andy Barrie is retired. Matt Galloway is now the host of Metro Morning.
    • 104。5,beat the bank,最高奖金500K,好象不用答问题,就是问你继续开下一个铃铛不,听到破锣响就什么也没有了。
    • Metro Morning, The Current, Here and Now, The World This Hour, The Vinyl Cafe, Cross Country Checkup
      • vinyl cafe, wiretab
    • I listen to 99.1 every night from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.... Many programs from BBC, Australia, Germany, etc.. very good
      • I am very curious to know how you can do that. Are you suggesting us that the good things can only happen in dreams?:-)
        • 晚上有时候睡不着,听CBC的节目跟数羊一个效果,但更有趣。
    • 我只听680 News。想学英文,CFRB 1010 的talk shows不错。
      • 680 news is too street talk and too fast for newcomers. CBC hosts have much slower and clearer projection of every syllable which I believe is more suitable as a language learning material.
    • I used to listen FM94.1 Classical severval years ago, since CBC changed its program by cutting hours of classical music, I turned to internet radio, huge choices there, like it。。。
    • Thanks everyone for your input.
