Many of use know the expression "In high spirit", because we can find it in China's middle-school English textbooks.

Of course, if a kid is unhappy, we may say he is in low spirit.

Well, in what spirit are we now? The answer is: We are now in holiday spirit. When people are in holiday spirit, they are usually less concentrated on their work. At the same time, people begin to spend more money and even have a shopping spree.

Please don't take my words as definitions. I am just trying to promote "in XXX spirit".
