u can leave from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc. But you will get to Toronto at 21:55 if you departure from Beijing, it is too late for friends to receive.While you leave from Shanghai, you will arrive at 18:15, I think it is the right time. And Guangzhou & H.K. are very far from your now residence. You can choose.
