LILY是对的,不要给自己惹麻烦,这不是体现你个人才能的时候.每个公司如果同时接到中介推荐的简历和你本人发的简历,基本上对这个公司你已经没有机会了。用人公司不可以跳过中介直接聘用中介推荐过的人，哪怕你自己投简历给公司，为了避免麻烦，公司都会弃之不用。在这里，用人公司和中介的关系是非常长久坚固的，很多公司只从中介公司找人。不要因为一个职位和中介弄僵关系，一直和他们保持良好的联系，对你以后的就业大有好处。

not a must though. I heard a case that the company actually turn down the job agency and contacted the applicant directly after 3 weeks. The company is a so called 'big' company too.

That's hard to believe. Usually they have a 3 or 6 month waiting period but reputable companies never want to take the risk.

Actually it will make things worse. The hiring company has a legal obligation not to hire anyone that the job agency has also introduced.It's not just a matter of reputation or relationship. Legal action can be taken. When hiring, their HR checks if your name is on agency's list.
