You can ask Buffalo about the status of your application if your medical report has been submitted for 3 months. Is there any problem other than this?

How to? fax? I did so. They gave a very simple answer saying that they will consulate with someone else to determine and also say I am still
within the standard processing time

Me too. I had my medical exam at the beginning of March. and finger-print earlier than that. I have been waiting for almost 5 months. (interview waived time in Feb). What the hell is going on in Buffalo?

It is weird for Buffalo to do like that. It is absolutely out of their time schedule. Try to send them a fax again.

I will represent all of the applicants to request Canadian Goverment to employ more immigration officer at Buffalo port if more than 10 persons have been waiting more than three months except those for background check. Is that ok?This is a qick way to attract people who are willing to serve the wonderful land immediately.

Buffalo office is slow. I did med exam
6/1/1999. I got the landing paper 6/3/2000.
Before that, I sent about 5 faxes but they did not respond.

Background and security checkSorry for my loose English. Canadian Consulate occasionally pick up some applicants and investigate their background: Will the applicant be harmful to Canada?
Did he have any criminal records in his/her motherland? .... If the applicant provides a good reference, the consulate may call the referee to check if this letter is a fake.

I think there are specific officers answerting the inquiry letter. The officer processing your case will never see the letter. so there is no use to write to them .
