相约北美 / 移民留学 / 我的出生地是陕西,公证书和申请表上翻译为 Shanxi,而护照翻译为 Shaanxi,面试时要求带护照,请问这是不是错误?谢谢!马上就要面试了! 跟移民官解释一下行吗，还是要公证处重开证明？

我的英文水平有限，但是shaanxi应该是正确的陕西的英文翻译，山西的翻译是shanxi。最好，在听听别人的意见。555.........

the safest way is...If "SHAANXI" is the official version of translation, still I think the safest way is to correct all related mistakes. Of course I think everyone will accept your explaination.
You may bring and submit the correction letter when you go to an interview. Good luck.
