工作学习 / English / 请大家说说自己在电脑上用的英语字典和encyclopedia好的字典和对认知帮助很大，我现在用的是Collins和American Heritage Dictionary，还有就是wordnet这个软件。请大家说说您用的工具书吧。看书和报纸常常遇见很多的生词，有的时候还真不知道是什么意思。比如下面这段话：
"It might seem strange that a country that developed the Kama Sutra would be hostile to Valentine's Day. But this comparatively tame ritual has given rise to a love-hate relationship"
为什么把Valentine's Day归于一种ritual，查了一些书才大概明白了一点ritual的含义，也希望大家赐教。
