TOFEL 630 -> can't understand what people talking about in the first 3 months. Couldn't finish the exam in 3 hrs in school because I took too long to organize my sentences.

我觉得不是看分数就可以看出英语水平的. 国内应试太厉害了。如果是没怎么准备就去考试的，那个分数还能说明些问题，否则根本不用看.

那你应该确切的说——我是学文的，英语听力又不太好。相信阅读写作对你不会太挑战，过来申请个college绰绰有余。放下包袱来吧……

本地大学生平均成绩大约是580，550已经是非常接近Native Speaker。至于考650的，至少也是这边的国会议员的水平。

just wondering how you can get data of local students taking toefl? Pay money for them to write the boring test?

TOEFL is designed for foreigner. So a score for a native speaker dosn't count.

toefl 650. failed LPI (UBC entry english test, focused on writing ) at first try. Now can write pretty good english when time is not an issue, but still feel like deaf when talking with native speakers.
