I guess more appropriate is "dynamic content, or one where the content is frequently changed. On the fly is the opposite of a static or hardwired page whose content seldom changes"

If you do something on the fly, you do it quickly without thinking about it or planning it in advance, especially while something else is happening. (INFORMAL)example: It was all pretty much done on the fly.
