应该是三个人的儿子。估计这个Peter是楼主，其余都是共事过年的老家伙及儿子们，Tony也许是谁的女儿，也许不是，这个Steve是某人的儿子但不一定是说话人的儿子，这个Barnie应该是个比较重要的项目但是只有两个儿子辈在干，没有老子辈参与，但是这个Steve儿子也要去干了，老家伙们开始感觉自己不是那么不可少了，老了。总之我看得真TMD费劲。

?????his boss just asked the team to welcome his son's joining into the team.
by saying that "You know you’re getting old when we now have not one but three sons ...."
he expressed he is getting old. Let's assume that he had his first son at the age of 35, when he got his third son, he might 42+. So he is getting old. Right?
there is no meaning in this mail that there are three steve in this co.
please read between lines.

My guess: Steve(Stephen Flanagan in the subject) is a son of Terry Flanagan(whose name appears in the To list). Probably there are already 2 children of the elder employees working for the same companies.Steve's joining will make the number up to 3. So the sender was just teasing about the age of the parents, Tony is probably the big guy(or HR guy) of the company. Not sure about S&O either, but he's been working at Birnie.
