about right, but it should be more than that, like in a sentence "I am lack of peace of mind in my life". How to translate that?

1.有这样一个句子吗?没看过I am lack of的结构。lack好像是我们中国人比较容易用错的一个单词,建议查字典。2。把英文单词翻译成对应的中文真不容易,翻译过程中会缺失很多意思。所以我觉得翻译文章有意义,翻译单词没有很大实际意义。你的问题中也有语法错误。seems 后面应该加to。 至于句子是否地道很难评判,学习英语是一个漫长的过程,需要大量的阅读来达到对这种语言规律的掌握。
祝学习愉快。

thanks for your critical comments. but couple of things I want to clear up: first of all, I didn't make up the sentence by myself, instead, it was from the script of a movie, second of all, the purpose of knowing the corresponding Chinese meaning is to apply more appropriately (unless your first language is not Chinese).

I guess we are taking different approaches to improving English, BTW, is that script online or can you post it here? I'd like to know this usage that I haven't met so far. Thank you.

maybe it is "piece" instead of peace, that sounds more logical
