谢各位. 大概是relay吧. 我是想这样连: cable modem --> wireless router 1 ---> wireless router 2 -> computer. 不知道两个wireless router 之间能否无线连接, 若用线连就是uplink了, 是吧?

there are two term for it: mesh and WDS. I use 3 of my 10CAD(after MIR) router setup it up in WDS(there is selection between AP, WDS,....in setup webpage of the router). for mesh, read the following artical for more detail

thanks for your info. looks like mesh network is used in large scale network. For WDS, you have to use the same products that support WDS, rigfht? And the speed is cut to half? Any addtional s/w and h/w required?

not sure about the scale tath you talk about. It better to use same model/brand, I tried to setup WDS with other brand with no luck. the compatible between wifi product still not 100%, especially for advance functions.
