Do not agree.Each and every language has it unique cultural roots, so it's particularly fresh when you interprete those to another language, which creates a total unique way of expression. It won't be exact and perfect, but it indeed is interesting. I tried this many times with english native speakers and they are very impressed.

No doubt about it and I am impressed too. However, no matter how beautiful the translation can be, it is in a different form and has a different sense. Following that logic, you actually agreed with me.I won't be impressed the way I was when I was reading the old Chinese sayings in its original form. And I doubt the native English speakers would, as they would never understand those sayings in its original form. .
