工作学习 / 外语学习 / 请教英语好的同学一个问题：IOC评价北京奥运会是"truly exceptional Games" ，中国翻译成“无以伦比”，我查了牛津大字典，exceptional解释是unusual not typical，韦伯大字典对exceptional的解释是better than average ，不知道这个“无以伦比”是怎么忽悠出来的？。。。

罗格本意应该是超过平均值，中国自作多情而已。罗格不是傻瓜，IOC背后是广告商，广告商背后是广大消费者。为了奥委会的利润，他必须要维持一个正面的道德形象。北京奥运的护照年龄造假，示威公园钓人，抓捕异议分子，形象并不算好。走得太近会有损IOC的商业利益，走远了又怕得罪人，反复挑选了这个词，也怪不容易的。
