It seems to say that you need to count as your income the proceeds from the policy minus your interest payment. When I had to study income tax years ago, I fell into sleep every time I opened up the thousand page book. Don't remember if I passed it.

Thanks a lot! I thought the taxable income is supposed to be the proceeds minus Adjusted cost basis?Fortunately i don't have to read through the whole book, but only a little part of them which is related to insurance industry;)
