you can say:" same old,,same old..." or" Everything is great" or "I am still alive"....a lot...depends on ...:)

i think when a coworker/manager asks you "how are you" or "how's everything" .. he/she is just being polite .. i find that they don't really mean it ... so i always just go:"everything's good, how about you"
