i think it should be "selfless" instead of "unselfish". BTW, 无私好像有点中国化，好像他们感谢不太说"无私“。

Good point. Just checked with my native coworker. He says unselfishness is a better word to use...so you can say thank for all your hard work and unselfishness

要不要加点great appreciation 什么的。我记得每次跟系里秘书说her work is of great help， 她老高兴了。还有，如果lz愿意，要不要自己烤点小糕点或者做个蔬菜/水果盒？本地人挺爱这样的。切点芹菜， 西兰花和胡萝卜在放一块cream。

totally. generosity is a good word. There are so many nice words to say about nice people, so don't worry too much about which one you choose. Anyone of them will make their day:-)

Good job. Few comments: both "my"s seem redundant; "Thank" should be Thanks; "staffs" should be staff; "2009 staff" a bit strange, maybe "from your staff in 2009"?
