“acknowledged”is too weak, often means "已阅”。Better use: praised, accepted, approved, endorsed, etc.

I found most Rolians like to use the passive sentence form. However, the active form is often better. Compare "My idea was praised by my boss" to "Boss praised my idea".

"肯定"这种说法比较有中国特色. 很含糊. 明确的话, 一个建议只有这些结果, 1. 很好, 得到批准, or 2. 不好, 被否决. or, 3. 建议有可取之处, 但是因为某些原因, 目前不适合. 应该清楚表达其中之一.
