shove it 就是不喜欢，不爽的意思。有个短语love it or shove it，跟take it or leave it语感有点类似。

I guess it means "吃下, 咽下". Once I heard the "Mom's song" on youtube, there is one "don't shovel" means "不要狼吞虎咽", 要 "chew slowly".
