工作学习 / English / 突然想到一个too simple, sometimes naive的问题：downtown、uptown中文怎么解释、地理上怎么划分？词典解释如下：
Downtown：The lower part or the business center of a city or town. 商业中心城镇的商业区或位置较低的地区
Uptown：The upper part of a town or city. 城镇非中心区
我理解downtown是商业区，uptown是居住区，对吗？ 这up、down怎么讲。好像懂了又好像不懂。

上海话：上只角，下只角。我猜意思差不多。downtown是穷人住的，uptown是富人住的。
