如果你喜欢悬念类的，本人推荐Lindwood Barclay 的小说，其文笔之流畅，用词之精彩，加上悬念层出不穷，令人很难放得下。本人是属于文章长点都懒得看完的人，但每次读他的几百页的小说都是一口气读完，典型的 "page turner"。

已经生完孩子了，应该没什么影响。我之前读西德里谢尔顿的书，虽然很好看，但是里面大部分都是对话，所以就发现有点简单。谢谢你的推荐，我去图书馆找来看看。

好奇之下看了too close to home,三晚加上一些零碎时间，几口气看完，确实不错，很多用法看着很顺，那个mayor令人捧腹的程度和咱辣伯有一拼。正开始看no time for good bye .

No time for goodbye is a typical page turner. Be prepared! Don't read it before your bedtime, you won't be able to put it down. :)

以前一直看很多 AGATHA CHRISTIE，先看法文的，再对照看英文的，感觉对提高英文理解和用法帮助很大；如果你觉得想提高法文的话，是不是也可以看双语，不过顺序调过来就是。

Other novels I would recommend are: The adventure of Tom Sawyer, Jane Eyre, Vanity Fair, Sister Carrie, Wuthering Heights, Alice in Wonderland etc.

好吧。 我大概周末PM给你。 但是我基本不太读小说，都是人物传记之类的。小说，可能比较老套了，都是简奥斯丁的小说。 因为看过THE TUDORS的电视剧，所以读了这方面的小说，比如 THE INNOCENT TRAITOR， LADY ELIZABETH， THE OTHER BOLYEN GIRL等。
