you could also use "cleanse" other than clean or wash. The guy whose first language is english will be shocked by this word. It's from Bible. hehe....:P

呵呵, 咱讨论一下英语吧. 您觉得把"The guy whose first language is english will be shocked by this word"改成"The native people would be suprised". 从句显得有点awkwrd, Shock有愤怒等负面意思. No Offense,只是想讨论一下英语. :)

shocked是震惊的意思，不一定要愤怒吧，语气比superised强烈。从句的确有点awkward，但意思比较清晰。
