You should treat your spoken English with accent as a good thingYou should treat your spoken English with accent as a good thing that indicates you at least can speak two languages as long as your accent doesn't affect understanding what you say. And it is too bad if you speak broken English with Canadian accent. My main point is not to spend your energy focusing on correcting your accent but something else that affects others understanding you.
