工作学习 / 外语学习 / 想通过参加成人高中提高英文，请问，English Academic 和 English Applied课程有什么区别？教育局网上的描述，我怎么看不出明显区别呢？这里有人参加过这边的成人高中吗？可以只学英文吗？谢谢。

10 years ago,I attended part time high school, trying to improve my English. Actually, i didn't find it was really helpful. Even worse than ESL. all students were native speakers. Do you think Kids are patient enough to understand you? and correct you? For grammar study, I think you even know much more and better than the teacher. I am not recommending you to attend part time high school.

I am not sure if it is applicable to you. I watch TV. Movies a lot. reading etc.

academic英文课号尾号为U，是毕业可以用来申请UNIVERSITY的，APPLIED尾号是C，毕业可以去COLLEGE，ACADEMIC要难很多，数学也同理。如果毕业目的是去UNIVERSITY，那12年级的课程尾号必须是4M或者4U如果只是为了提高英语，不是为了升学，
可以选一些譬如CAREER, MARKETING, ENTREPRENEURSHIP, BUSINESS LEADERSHIP, ACCOUNTING之类的课，很实用，之后工作或者做小生意都用得到
